Benue North West District ADC Endorses Female Aspirant

Stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the Benue North West Senatorial District have endorsed the aspirant, Hon Iveren Ukula for the Senate in 2027.

At the crowded attended declaration of intention by Hon Iveren Ukula to contest senatorial race, stakeholders led by Senator Yisa Orker Jev, represented by elder Terkaa Agba among others presented the aspirant to people of the senatorial district for election.

They stated that Iveren Ukula, known also as "Queen Amina" of Benue State would serve the senatorial district as desired by virtue of her commitment, exemplified by antecedents for development of mankind.

Her counterpart from Benue South Senatorial District, Dr. David Olofu show solidarity by attending in a representative capacity. Engineer Okpe Onah described Hon Iveren Ukula as a "great personality who is the square peg in the square hole, will do well by adding value to life of the people." The endorsement reinforces the saying that what a man can do "Ukula can do better."

Speaking during the occasion, the aspirant declared that she joined the race to make the difference in the political representation if elected in 2027.

She explained that her years of apprenticeship in politics enabled her to know what's best for the people, therefore, nothing would stop her from making the difference for the betterment of the majority.

Queen Amina expressed displeasure on the worsening security in the state and said, as apprentice, she persuaded elected politicians to prioritize security as well as welfare for the populace but little came from the efforts. 

According to the Amazon, the development, made her to join the race and make difference. She undertook to constitute a broad based advisory team made up of ninety people across the senatorial district to reliably collect data aimed at enabling her serve people of the district as desired.

Reiterating to undertake very regular interface with people of the senatorial district, she said "my approach will be different. I prioritize practical intervention over those white elephant projects."

 Hon Ukula expressed great displeasure over the rehtoric politicians always preferred over genuine efforts that made life better and assured of adopting policies that add value and make more positive impacts on the people.

About zoning others pursue to accomplish their aspirations, she criticized as designed to "promote mediocrity over competence." According to her, the ADC would ignore the policy, so also majority in the senatorial district to ensure for her victory for the senate aspiration.

The Benue Queen called on females to avail themselves for political leadership aimed at expanding social impact on people of the state.
