Buruku Needs Effective Connectivity, I Will Provide- APC HoR Candidate

House of Representatives candidate for the Buruku Federal Constituency on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Gideon Dooyum Inyom has disclosed that the constituency doesn't lack "effective connectivity" he would provide if elected in 2027 for the constituency.

The APC flag bearer made the disclosure when he featured on the programme organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Benue State Council tagged "NUJ Political Arena."

He said "we have fertile land. We have talented young people. We have vibrant women. We have strategic communities. We have a rich cultural heritage. What we have often lacked is effective connectivity between our people and opportunities."

On this position, Hon Inyom said "my vision is to build that bridge."

To enable him construct the bridge, the contestant stated that since twenty first century went beyond merely attending the plenaries and issuance of press statements, doing what actually closes up the existing gaps that halted opportunities for local and national benefits for people of the constituency occupied the front burner of his representative agenda. 

According to him, the need for the constituency to benefit his effective representation was what has driven his decision to participate in the political process expected to end in the 2027 general elections.

Shaped by public service depth, development work experience, political activism and a deep conviction people of Buruku deserve for better outcomes from governance, Hon Inyom has reinforced the building of his blueprint on 'vision, innovation and impact' for the constituency. 

The candidate assured of a robust synergy with the Governor who is the Chief security officer on the basis of the technologically driven security device developed to guarantee people dividends of democracy.

He summarized that no society grows in atmosphere of insecurity since farmers won't access their farms, the children not attend schools and businesses not operate, therefore, deployment of the device would mitigate the challenges while the NUJ be appreciated for opportunity given for the programme to inform the public of his desire to represent the constituency.

Chairman of the Council, Comrade Bemdoo Ugber assured the aspirant of a balanced publicity and urged others to take advantage of the programme and come for the public to know more about them.

He concluded "NUJ Political Arena offers political parties and their candidates the opportunity to present their visions, policies and plans for the electorate to know" while journalists take the chance to seek clarification on issues of public interest.
